Sounds great doesn't it? No cost to sign up and free marketing materials. You should be wondering why with such an amazing deal everyone hasn't signed up and made fortunes as affiliate marketers. The answer is simple; it takes a lot of diligent, nose to the grindstone work to become wealthy even with the best affiliate marketing programs. Now is this going to be the hardest thing you have ever done? I would venture to say no. Personally my day job is far harder than being an affiliate marketer.
So why don't people make it? One reason is a lack of discipline. They get into a program or two, setup a website expend some effort to market the businesses and then wait for the cash to flow in. But it doesn't flow in. So they rack their brain get frustrated and start searching the net for surefire deals. Pretty soon they are hopping from one affiliate program to another. Invariably they begin signing up for every newsletter on how to make money that is out there and most likely start purchasing programs to show them what they should be doing. After a few months they give up and move on to the next money making venture.
Have you been caught up in this cycle? It's common so don't feel bad if this is you. If you want to be successful you need to start with some education. Without first growing your skills the best affiliate programs won't be of any use to you. First realize that you need to spend time growing your entrepreneurial mindset. The American education system is not built to turn out entrepreneurs but employees. People are taught a well paying job means security. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is no security when you could be let go from your job and easily land on the street.
